Beautifull "Frnaža" bay on island Ugljan - Zadar archipelago
"Frnaža" is the most beautifull wild bay on island Uglan and almost always one of our special points for half day trips! Frnaža is located only 15 minutes by boat from Zadar.

On western part of island Ugljan and very close to main port of island - "Preko" there is one special place called "Frnaža". Located between places Sutomišćica and Ugljan there is beautifull wild bay. It consists of two separate bays.

The southern Frnaža is shallower than the northern one, and therefore the sea is warmer, so depending on the outside heat, you can decide for a 'warmer' or 'colder' Frnaža. Depending on the direction of the wind, the two Frnaža's offer you shelter in all blowing directions except for the "Bura". South Frnaža is also sandier than the north, and in both bays the outer part of the wild beaches is rocky. These two bays are separated by a small peninsula with a pine forest.
